Ok all I am curious. What are some of your best lap times at Solitude? I
have been working my butt of for a 4.03.34. in a Ferrari
running the default setup. NO laughing please for all you Allien drivers who
run 7 min laps at the Ring!!
Thanks in advance,
Dave T.

I've done a 3.59.56 with my spa set up including on 360 spin and a
shiftR after sticking a wheel in a bail. From forums it looks like
something in the 3.30-low 3.40's is average for a good clean lap.

the 3:38 range.Got my best this morning at 4:30 am after only being awake for 30
min while resting between sets from my lifting routine... a 3:36.25 in the Eagle
using the default. My arms felt like spaghetti from my workout, and I don't know
it that helped or hindered my laptime... I'm usually a mid-packer in GPL with a
+4.xx handicap in the rankings. I feel purty good about that time now (until I
see the times posted below my post!)

the next lap and take out the leader at the hairpin :( the WR is 3-23

I have managed a 3:54 in an F2 Ferrari using Kevin Firlein's
excellent default F2 setup. In the same race, someone else did
a 3:52 and in qualifying, Kevin himself did a 3:41 (although he
didn't race).
I have yet to drive Solitude in an F1 car so I can't really
compare with your times. I have found though that since driving
F2 cars for 90% of the time, when I go back to F1 I am better.
For example, last night I drove Spa in F1 for the first time in
over a month and beat my PB by 1.9 seconds on the first flying
lap. My tip to you would be to run some laps in F2 to learn the
lines and then move up to F1.
Cheers
Phil
