Matrox G400 Marvel and GPL

Anyone got the soloution? I've got a G400 Marvel (basically a G400) and want to play GPL (havn't done since ditching a Banshee!!) What do I need to D/l etc? I've tried the Direct X patch - but I just get spat out of GPL when I click green-flag into the cockpit. HELP - a mate has challenged me at Spa over VROC - I truely need to whip his ass..

To use the G400 with GPL and the Direct3D patch, you need to install the Beta drivers for your G400 card. Check out http://www.matrox.com. It will work. Jason. Jan Loebzien wrote:

How 'bout putting a cheap Voodoo2 alongside for all your Glide needs? Probably at least as fast as your G400, should the D3D patch ever work with it. Jan

It works for me with Matrox Marvel G400, i use the beta drivers 5.06.031, and the Direct3D patch, but only in 800x600. Leif

Are u sure to check off z-buffer support from core.ini? It helped for me (Matrox G400 16mb DH)
