Remco,
do you have a current address for Les Marton's software and
email? I tried to e-mail him and got the mail bounced back. The
hypertray software seems to work fine with single joystick mode
in GP3 but I'd like to get dual mode working.
Thanks,
Jeff
I am experiencing serious troubles when trying to calibrate GP3 in my
hyperstimulator unit.
It's basically two things: A very disturbing small countinuos trembling
movement of the wheel while trying to drive in straights (specially in
Hockemheim it is a nightmare)and, no matter how many different things I
do when I try to calibrate, the car wil be slightly accelerated and
seriously braked.
I do not have any of these problems in GP2 or in GPL. Particularly when
calibrating in GP2 I have noticed the following: When calibrating wheel
Y axis moves whilst X remains at cero value, and the opposite when doing
accelerating&braking (X moves, Y at zero value), whilst in the case of
calibrating GP3 X and Y always have values and the axis not being
calibrated even has some slight movement.
I am not certainly an expert, so I think this could be a problem of the
GP3 "single axis" calibration I have read somewhere, but I am not sure.
Has anyone experienced something similar when calibrating in GP3? Is
there a cure?
Thank you in advance to anyone helping. I would be very pleased to hear
something from Remco Moedt, who helped me a lot when purchasing my unit
a couple of years ago.
Hi Luis!
Couple of questions:
Do you use the latest Hyperstim drivers from Les Marton?
What kind of gameport do you use?
Did you calibrate the Hyper in the Windows GameControllers?
Do you use Single or Dual mode?

Unfortunately GP3's pretty brain dead when it comes to its controller
setup... Unfortunately, for now until a patch comes out for GP3, you can
only use single joystick setup with the Hyper. BTW, this is not a prob with
the Hyper - it's GP3... Did they test this game?
Regards,
Les.
