No, there *are* 43 cars, but not all of the real WC drivers will be in the
game at first. Don't worry though, there have already been cars painted for
it.
At least they're honest, and don't say "All the tracks and cars from the
1999 NASCAR Winston Cup Season!" like someone...

The game supports 43 racers, unfortunately they weren't able
to secure the rights to use all of the licensed Nascar drivers. So
you will find some imaginary names and cars included in the game.
