On screen steering wheel is a must... my monitor is at an angle to my wheel
setup, so I can't see the wheel I'm actually turning!! ;-)

There's not an option in the game to turn it off.

A few thoughts about reactions to the Heat demo.
1. I have a V3 and am also restricted to 800x600 but who really
cares. Also, who cares about the jaggs. The graphics are fine enough
and why everyone is getting a little peeved about the limits of
resolution is beyond me.
2. What's really funny here is how everyone tends to go in extremes
when evaluating a game. It's either the worst game ever or it's the
best game ever. Heat may be a darn good simulator but I don't think
we have to praise it so much, expecting miracles at every turn and
then being terribly disappointed when the miracles don't surface.
(Can you find the two puns?):)
Thanks,
Alanb

I turn off the on-screen
wheels on all the racing games that I can. But I hear what you are saying.

GP3 does it (in hardware mode), and now Nascar Heat.. and I can't find a
way to turn it off.. :-(
Is there somthing I need to edit.. cfg file?? Or will somone have to
'hack' the sim to do it??? If so, what do I do??
If not, can somone work it out please?? I have no expertise in this kind of
thing....
I'm amazed that they didn't put that in as a default option.. Great pity..
fingers crossed for the final release...:-)
