I can't solve the performance analysis problem in GP3! Please, can someone help me tot solve this problem? The problem is, that I don't see any lap in "Lap entries" from the performance menu. In the whole game I don't get error-msgs from GP3, so I think my *original* version of GP3 is OK. I can save my hotlaps, but also here, I can't see any laps in "Lap entries". The thought whas, when I have my new videocard "Asus V7700 Geforce2 GTS deluxe", that maybe my GP3 problem is history. But it's still there! Things what I did so far to hopefully solve this problem: * 3 times a clean install from GP3 and *also* from my Win98 (not SE) system. * With my older G400 and now with the V7700 I tried the Directx versions 7.0 en 7.0a. * Also different drivers from the graphics cards. * And many othter things I tried under Win98. Other place for the swapfile (whole partion only for this). So, these whole thing drives me crazy and I don't know what else I can do. So my questions: Is it possibly that I'm missing some important components from Win98 to play this game? Maybe while I don't have the SE version? I know, sounds weird, but something must be the problem. How can I simply check if my GP3 version is complete? What needs GP3 for the logged data, or what memory does this game use for this option? I do have 256 mb. So, who has the the ultimate solution for me, so that I can use GP3 completely. Peter

Once you have done this, the laps stay in the performance monitor even if you end the session, so you can go to the workshop and extract performance data from a hotlap file to compare to your own. BTW, It's all in the book that comes with the *original* version .... Bart Westra

Are you kidding me? I know where it stands in the book, with nice pic's on page 114 and further. But the whole problem is, that also when I do this all so as I can read in the book, I can't see any laps in Laps entries. So, the problem is not while I can't read or ... that I've got an illegal version if you think. Peter

Ok. I have a Dutch manual, so page numbers may be a little different. Page 114 only shows the graphics in my version, what I mean is on page 95, which is Part 4 of Car behavior (?) So when you click Fetched Logged Data in the car setup menu, do you see a status bar filling up? And another question, can you save hotlaps when you press Escape, then click Options - Save - Hotlap? I'm thinking maybe your system or it's configuration lacks memory for recording hotlaps. Another interesting thing is if you can extract performance data from a saved hotlap and graph that. Please state exactly what you do driving and which menu's you go through to get the performance data. Bart
