It's absolutely great that Papyrus now has some real competition , can only help all of us sim racers. Whether N4 turns out to be better than NH is really not as important as the fact that we now have 2 Nascar games to compete with each other. Can only help raise the bar a bit we will all benefit. I can guarantee you that Heat has got the attention of the guys at Papyrus. I always thought that N4 would end up being N3 with updated graphics and not any real changes to the physics of the game , maybe now it that won't happen . Hmmmm.... now if we can get Ed to start working on an operating system Look out Mr Gates LOL Steve P

"Steve P" <. Whether N4 turns out to be better than NH is really > not as important as the fact that we now have 2 Nascar games to compete >with each other NO! whats important is: that while these two fine examples of sim coding have been produced....NOBODY seems to be working on a good CART sim.....(I had to say that for Trukster's benefit) -- dave henrie Free the ICR2 source code!

N4 was always going to have the full GPL physics, heat or no heat. This was announced ages ago. Who did Papyrus have to compete with when they released GPL? Jon

Sierra! Took them over and nothing decent since then! Thank god the sim was too far along for Sierra to stop it! Pete "Jon Van Ginneken" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:s_Hl5.342$[email hidden]...

You think that if they'd been competing against another product, they would have marketed it better? Interesting concept. But, assuming the competing was more 'accessible', I don't think the sales would have been that much better. You still have the difficulty factor to get over...
