Do the cars incur damage in the full version realistically? Does it
affect performance? Neither occurs in the demo. MGI has seemed pretty
silent on this issue. Wonder why.
yes they do, yes it does ... they arent quiet ... there are three HASBRO/MGI
guys putting in a lot time in a lot of different places on their days off.
The vertex damage didnt make it into the final however you can edit the cfg
file to add it if you like.

Vertex damage is damage to the left and right of the car, right?
Why didn't that make it to the final?

Anyway, there are more damage options in the final version, so you should be
able to tweak to your desire. As for vertex damage, it's an unsupported
feature, but you can turn it on in the options.cfg just like you do in the
demo.

Are you going to patch the game later to fix the vertex damage?

simply ran out of time. Aparently there are a few bugs with it, not exactly
sure what, however the fact that it locks the systems when used with high
detail cars could mean something. The vertex damage applies to the whole car
yes. The calculations to do the deformation properly are pretty horendous.
