GP3 Voodoo2 observation

With my two generic 12MB Voodoo2s, I was getting only ~1fps in GP3 regardless of which drivers/directx I ran and what I had in cards.txt. Then I swapped my Diamond Stealth Video VRAM card for my mate's generic TNT and after recalibrating I can get an estimated 16fps (PO 100-200%) in Voodoo2 mode with all options on (but low textures) at 800x600! Adding the sli switch actually drops the estimated rate to 15fps. While he lets me keep it I'll use the TNT. Estimated 23fps with all options on at 800x600 (PO 80-130%). System specs; 300A @ 450MHz on BH6, 128MB RAM, Win98SE, Dx7.0a, Detonator2, V2 ref 3.02.02. Hope someone can figure out what's going on. Sent via Deja.com http://www.deja.com/ Before you buy.
