Hello all...Anyone using Mindspring-Earthlink DSL here in the States? I have a cable hookup which surfs and mails great but I have trouble gaming (GPL) on it. Tried everything (registry tweaks, working with the cable company, etc.). I show good numbers (pings, packet loss) yet when I race thing happen like blinking cars, smashes, all the good things that come with a shaky connection. I have the hardware to handle anything so it has been very frustrating...I am a dial up customer of Mindspring and they have been offering DSL service. Anyone have it and if so how is gaming on it? Dave C.

Are you hosting the races? In Nascar 3 the person with the fastest connection should host. GPL may be the same... -- [email hidden] "David Ciemny" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:jrOl5.2370$[email hidden]... > Hello all...Anyone using Mindspring-Earthlink DSL here in the States? No Greg no hosting just racing. Very fast gaming machine with a cable connection. Dial up gives me better performance. Meaning no warping or what feels like a signal spike making the three performance meters explode through the roof (latency, packet loss, etc) Dave C.
