hi,
i'm trying to use vroc to race gpl on line (at last!) but no races are
displayed and i get this message:
RaceList.setRaceList: No response from server at vroc.net:44045 after
14 seconds
i believe this is a firewall problem. can someone tell me ALL the
sockets etc. that vroc and gpl use, so i can open them up all in one
go rather than by trial and error and lots of spying. i couldn't find
this info on the vroc help pages.
thanks,
martin.

Hi Dr.!
The information you're looking for is in
the GPL 1.1/1.2 readme.
Cheers!

it does tell me all about gpl port numbers, but doesn't tell me what
ports the vroc applet uses to talk to vroc central, which is the info
i need to make my first step.

Ah, sorry. Maybe the info you need is here:
http://vroc.net/html/vroc20/options.htm
You can also try WinVROC, a native Win32 client.
