SCGT - New Cars

7 posts by 4 people · 14 Aug 2000 - 15 Aug 2000 02:11 UTC

I'm playing around with my new 2000 ALMS car set. I'm not done with it yet, but I'm making new paint jobs for the prototypes and some of the GTS cars. If anyone's interested in such a set, I'll post it on my Web site. Any takers? Sundown Here's my focus of the set: 0 Olive Garden Lola-Judd* 1/2 Panoz LMPs 3/4 Goodwrench Corvette C5-Rs 16/20 Dyson R&S-Lincoln 36 Johansson-Matthews Reynard-Judd 42/43 BMW Motorsport BMW V12 LMRs* 74 Informix Reynard-Judd 77/78 Team Joest Audi R8s* 91/92 ORECA Viper GTS-Rs* 02 Pole Team R&S-Judd* * indicates cars not of my creation. Too loose with too much sway in the driving model. Can't anyone fix that? -- Nos

Well they are supposed to feel that way since they are old cars. Start with the mods for hte chassis and I think you can get the cars to preform close to the new ones. Also you can edit anything in the veh files with GTVE from busybee. The editor is avaialable at many sites for sCGT. Dave [email hidden] wrote in article <[email hidden]>...

I'm talking about any car in SCGT. Feels like the springs have no stiffness at all. I don't think any race car would feel like that. Feels more like I'm driving trucks than cars. -- Nos

Well I am not too sure what you are talking about, but maybe I have been messing about with the game too much to notice anymore. You can adjust the Anti Pitch suspension to a higher number in the veh file to make the car move around less on the suspension. also try going down numerically on the center height and that will lower what I assume is the cars center of gravity. Ok, I'll try that. Thx. -- Nos
