Heat tracks in GP3

Could NASCAR Heat tracks be converted to GP3?

A poster wished NASCAR Heat ovals could be converted for use in GP3. Others said the games share no engine, unlike Papyrus's NASCAR and IndyCar titles where converters existed, and mocked GP3's poor online play. Much of the thread became banter about British versus American spelling.

How great would it be if we could convert NH tracks to GP3 and race aroungdTexas and Talladega in F1 cars. Online racing with that would be great....Do you think it will happen...?

But since GP3 has sorted out the camber bug from GP2 maybe we can get some proper ovals once the track editing gets sorted out.

I remember when Indy Car 2 came out and that's exactly what we did with Nascar. Some guys came out with converters to go either way with the tracks. I did about 159.00 mph at Bristol with an Indy Car. My 'Dega times were above 240 mph. Yeah, it would be a blast for you guys.... Yes but..... NASCAR 1, 2, 3 = Papyrus ICR 1, 2 = Papyrus Easier to convert. GP3 = Microprose NH = Who? Typically, those in England spell it "realise", while in America it's spelled "realize". There are plenty of other examples of alternate spellings, from how the British spell compared to American spellings. The most common is "colour" for "color" and all those "*our" to "*or" paradigms. Speaking of spelling and GP3, has anybody noticed they spelled "Practice" wrong in the Race Type menu of Options? Unless it is also spelled "Practise". (UK version) Lutrell "Mark Snyder" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:%Oam5.79763$[email hidden]...

Since I've been computrtless four about the past four years and am a proud owner now of a screaming machine I've been out of touch with who, what, and where in the racing sim industry. I had no idea they where of a different engine. Being the redneck I am I'm so very much hung up on Dirt Track Racing right now. It is something I can relate to. I can't recall the last time an F1 or CART race was held in south Louisiana :) I know I will purchase N4 when it comes out. I just don't know if I can turn right or even learn how. F1 is the elite of all racing but I just don't relate to it. CART is just an elite wanna be. Now I'm rambling so I'll stop and end here :) Mark "Tim Wheatley" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:8nc0ue$g4d$[email hidden]...
