Love the Demo so far with only a couple of things that bother me
1) somewhat minor, but when you go to a race, then try to do the
whole thing (practise, qualify etc) you have to go back to the
selection screen again, I was hoping (like N3 etc) that you could just
select the next option,
2) A little more serious, I know what is said about the V2 8mb and can
understand it, but as I am running 2 8mb V2's I *should* have enough
to run the graphics properly.
What happens though about 50% of the time I go to Daytona (richmond
seems fine) is that 80-90% of the screen is red (texture placement
area I presume) and it tkaes multpile exits to get it to load ALL the
textures (however once it does it runs great)
Boiling to the question is will the FINAL v detect properly (if that
is the problem) or is it going to be when it loads right it loads
right (no bad to you guys just that another card is a ways out for me
right now)
Hmmm. Not sure if we tested that config. I'll check when I get in the
office. Double-check the drivers, too.

I haven't spent a whole lot of time on the NH Demo yet, but I found that I
can run it at 1024x768 using SLI'ed 12 Meg Voodoo2's. No problems so
far....

Driver Follow up... card #1 running Diamond (D3d v4.10)card #2
Voodoo ref (D3D v4.12)
I would love to figure out how to get them both running v 4.12 but ME
keeps hitting the diamond for one of the cards no matter WHERE I tell
it to point to..
Thought.. gonna shut down and rip out one card and try one at a time.
BTWY-Totally off topic, as soon as you get a hard drive from Quantum
call them up and register it, I had one go bad that I got from THEM
(got the shipping box still) and after it went bad they are now
telling me it was an OEM drive and I should contact the OEM?!?!?!?

Update to my own problem, stripped the cards, and removed all the
Diamond stuff from the registry ( I Hate playing with regedit)
First card installed, then decided that both the Diamond & Ref
drivers should be there, then said what the hell put in the second
card, ID'd and happy.
Again tried regedit for Diamond, rebooted. now it seems to work (only
one screen&Nh is clean- of course after I post this it will go red
<G>)
However now it doesnt want to do 1024 but what the hell
