I've also had problems with setting up my LWFF - you may have seen my increasingly irritated posts. But I've now cured them!!! In the end I had to:- 1) Uninstall the Logitech Profiler software. 2) 'Improve' ^_^ GP3 with the No-CD patch (I used the one from www.bhmotorsports.com). 3) Reinstall the Logitech software. You must AFAIK have the latest version of the Logitech Profiler software ( v 3.30). I also applied Logitech's patch that addresses calibration issues when running DX7.0/7.0a. (I'm not sure if it had any effect on *my* problem, though - the Wingmanteam site says it patches the Profiler software from v 3.30.532 to v 3.30.533, but my Profiler still says 532 although the patch has been applied...) I now have full wheel and pedals (no split-axis, of course - GP3 doesn't support it) and I CAN FINALLY MAP COMMANDS TO THE BUTTONS!!!! I used one of the .con files from the web (www.alphaf1.com, I think - I looked at quite a lot). And then edited it out of all recognition to suit my own preferences. ^_- Martin D. I have a LFFW. Is there any way of programming the buttons to do things like send the "into pits" signal? I have tried doing it in the Wingman Profiler but it doesn't translate into the game. Thanks Hugh

Same problem here with LWFF. I think its a problem with GP3. Cant use the Windows key to jump back to desktop and try different settings while game is running either. Lutrell "Hugh" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:8n8mma$sa4$[email hidden]...

Just read another post that said Decrypting the game to use editors might make this problem. Hmm, I dont remember if I tried programming the buttons before I decrypted the game to edit wall crashes. Lutrell "Lutrell" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:v3Ul5.491$[email hidden]...

When you create a new profile for LWFF profiler DON'T select the GP3.EXE as the game file select the GP3.ICD. This works, I have programmed the buttons for pause, check time gaps, pit request, etc. -- Joe Marques Please remove "NO SPAM" to e-mail me. Now it seems you guys have your Logitec wheels sorted out, could you tell me. 1.are they any good with GP3 , Grand Prix Ledgends and Nascar 3. 2.How are they conected,is it just USB or is it like the MS sidewinder FFB wheel 3.How much difference does Force FB actualy make. 4.How is the build quality ,longevety, and reliabilaty of the logitec. I currently use a MS sidewinder USB wheel etc. and have had it about 10 months, its now slighty off calibration in the centre posistion but has been good value (50-00) and had much use and never given any problems (apart from usual microsoft DX ? drama). Thanx if you bother to reply. PS anyone who has owned both the MS and logitec force feedback wheels please give opinoins as to best for GPL and GP3.
