Hey all, can someone tell me where I can see some comparisons on FSAA with NASCAR 3, F12k, and GP3? TIA, Doug
I've played/attempted all 3 with FSAA. F12K doesn't work with it so that one's out. GP3 looks great, I can send you some jpegs if you like. It's graphics may look dated on most cards but FSAA helps enough to satisfy my tastes. As for N3 I can run it 4xFSAA and it's a tremendous improvement. It looks real smooooooth. It really looks like a whole new game. Since NH, however, N3 looks pretty dated. I run NH 2xFSAA btw. -- Joe Marques Please remove "NO SPAM" to e-mail me. I run NH 2xFSAA btw. I ran a test with the NH demo ... first no FSAA at all, then 4X FSAA. There's a HUGE difference. With no FSAA it's jaggie hell, lots of bleeding in the distance. With 4X FSAA all the jaggies go away. It makes me feel good that I bought a V5 :-)
But at what frame rate, does it run fast enough at 4x FSAA? And what about 2X FSAA? What speed CPU? Lutrell "Jeff Jones" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:J22m5.111988$[email hidden]...

What speed CPU? > Lutrell Well, I'm fortunate that I can run it at 4X FSAA smoothly. My system is: P3-728 mhz Voodoo 5 - 5500 (oc'ed to 180 mhz) 384 MB SDRAM Even 2X FSAA helps a great deal, and would be nice for someone with something like a P3-500, 128 ram, etc.
