Hope someone can help - I can not play a previously saved replay in SB2000.
It tries to load it and then freezes.
My system is a P2 450 with 2xV2 12mb 3dfx cards, and 256mb ram.
Any help appreciated.

Paul,
Good luck. I've had SB2000 for several months now and I am clearly convinced
that it has a bug that EA has not addressed yet (if they ever will). My
experience is that the sim is very temperamental when it comes to either
allowing regular play or playing replays. My brother isn't even able to get
the sim to run in any mode. Sometimes the game goes directly to the
pre-programmed one lappers upon launch. Other times the game goes to the race
menu. No rhyme or reason why one happens over the other. Sometimes the replay
works, sometimes it doesn't.
Yes, the only assistance that I have to offer is to commiserate with you that
the game has a bug in the code.
If you hear of a solution, I would appreciate knowing.

It usually does this if you change your Graphic board driver or you mess
with the card settings under the windows, What solves the problem is to
reinstall the game, same procedure if the game crushes to the desktop upon
launch.
If you wait long enough the game will play the lap replays, at least it does
so on 2 different machines I have tested SBK on...

to load a saved replay, not just after installing a new video card, but even
ten minutes after installing the game. I've tried it on multiple occasions
on different OS's with different video cards and the same thing happens
every time. It's only saved replays though.
I don't know if it's significant but I always do the full install.
