I've editted the .cfg file and set to hardcore mode in the demo, but
I'll be darned if it makes any difference around Richmond. I can still
stomp on the gas in fourth coming out of the turns with abandon, and I
can hammer the brakes without fear of locking up. What gives? Yes, in
first and second I've got to be a little more sensitive with the
accelerator, and if I clip the apron wrong I'll be thrown into a spin
but once I'm up to speed I don't seem to need to apply any finesse.
Sounds like my experience is different to others around here.
Other than that I like what I've seen so far, and if I can get a true
impression of what hardcore mode is like I may even import it from the
US. Money's tight and I need to get a proper taste of how the game'll
play in the mode I'll use it - it's not like I can just take it back to
EB.

Before you buy.
Read the top sentence that you copied rrevved. It has an AND in between the
words file and set. This leads one to understand that he is talking about
that in-demo setting. As I've previously mentioned, you need a reading
comprehension course.
