I downloaded the Nascar Heat demo overnight on my lowly 56k modem and
started driving this evening. I have an Act Labs Force RS + Shifter,
icluding the 4 speed plate and was pleased to see that both of these were
supported.
Anyway, my problem is that even though I select the reverse slot on the
shifter (button 6) as the reverse gear and set reverse to manual, I cannot
engage reverse gear. What am I doing wrong? Is this a software or a user
problem? I am inclined to believe that it is the latter but maybe someone
else can shed some light on the subject.

FYI, I don't have the 4 spd plate, but also have the Force Rs + Shifter.
Reverse for me is as stamped with 'R' on the original shifter template, far
lower right.
