I think if you put "echo off" as the first line of your batch file, it
will then run in the background without launching a DOS pop-up window.

I read a post that there is a way to enable Daytona in the NH demo. I looked
and was not able to find the post that included the fix. If you know please
post......Thanks......
Just select "beat the heat" or "race the pro" instead of single race.

Download this file
http://www.snowcrash.org/Slasher/nheat/daytonarace.zip
a new RACE.bin file (rename your old one something like racerich.bin).
You have to change RACE.bin files every time you want to switch tracks.

above site) to raced.bin then copied it to the nascar heat/run dir. I then
created 2 text docs 1 named daytona.bat the other called richmond.bat. This
all based on default install directory, change accordingly.
To the daytona.bat I added these lines:
ren race.bin racer.bin
ren raced.bin race.bin
cd\
cd\progra~1
cd hasbro~1
cd nascar~1
nascar~1.exe
To the richmond.bat I added these lines.
ren race.bin raced.bin
ren racer.bin race.bin
cd\
cd\progra~1
cd hasbro~1
cd nascar~1
nascar~1.exe
I then created shortcuts to my quick launch bar and viola.
One question though. After the game launches the "finished" dos command
window remains. Anyone know what the command is to close it automatically
in the batch file? I tried "exit" but didnt work.
Good luck
