F12000 graphic improvements 2
I feel the need to share my little discoveries with anyone who hasn't yet so
please forgive me if you think I talking a load of pap.
Anyway I noticed that each track has a .scn file and in there you can edit
the colour of the fog and the region where it starts and how thick it is -
distance cue -.
This really help the realism of the tracks it you apply just a subtle amount
of a light blue fog.
Monza and Monaco have good fogging setups yet Hockenhiem has none. By
adjusting the values to about 1 - 3000 ( you have to increase this for
tracks where you can see further) for in and out respectively you get a
much better feeling of depth. And Imola feels much better now by changing
the fog from a horrid yellow to a more subtle shade of sky blue. Awesome J
Of course you cannay really do this on the more hilly tracks where you see
the darker backdrops but I found this to really help at least 10 of the
tracks.
Give it a go and play around with them there numbers...
BTW my F12000 settings are;
Details at High, Draw-in at High and Fog at Medium.
Just a FYI
