F1 2000 and repairs

2 posts by 2 people · 16 Aug 2000 - 16 Aug 2000 22:59 UTC

Hi, I'm curious to know if I'm doing something wrong or if this is just how the F1 2000 plays. When I'm on the track and I collide with something and lose say my front wing and one or more of my tires go wobbly, I put in a request to Pit. When I get in, I get the drop down menu with an option for tires, fuel repairs and one other thing I can't remember. If I keep repairs as the selected option and then hit enter or Tab, they do some stuff to the car and then it's back to the race, YET, no change to the car apart from having my fuel topped up and all that. The front wing is still missing and the tires are still wobbly. Please advise me as to whether I'm doing something wrong or if the car just doesn't get fixed. By the way, what is hottapping? Yes I'm a newbie. M Sent via Deja.com http://www.deja.com/ Before you buy.

Do you know sure its your FRONT wing, cause in my opinion the frontwing will be fixed, only the rear wing will never be fixed (thats for sure) About the tyres. I think when the tyre was hit by anything and the tyre is still there but not moving in the right way anymore, then it cannot be fixed by a pitstop (pretty realistic i think..). Changing tyres is only possible when the tyres and the construction where you have to put on the tyres (bad english, hope you understand..) is not damaged allready. Anyway, thats my opinion, maybe there are some other things which i forget..
