i would like to know what is wrong with the game before downloading a 41MB demo that would take me 12 hours or buying a $50 game then finding out its crap. (F12000 comes to mind.....)
Trust me.... if your a big NASCAR fan then this game is for you..... I have every version of Papy's NASCAR series of games and NHeat blew them away. Yes, N4 will probably blow NHeat away but it's not due out until sometime next year. Once you download the demo enable the "Hardcore" mode in the options.cfg file, and turn off "non-linear steering" (if you use a wheel) in the controls menu and this game will rock!! Few games get me excited by the demo anymore. This one does. In hard-core mode the car feels SO much better than Nascar 3. The AI seems pretty decent, and they respect the player's line. Sometimes cars will be three abreast in the Richmond race. The AI cars don't appear canned at all. The graphics are not great, this one might convince me to buy a Voodoo5 just for the antialiasing. But the demo is limited to 800*600 at the highest res, the release should have much higher resolution. IMO, well worth the download. Read some of the posts here...that's what they are for. GP3 is a big disappointment. NH is a big hit, so far. Marc. I think the graphics are a very strong feature of this title. I'm waiting for the full release and judge how people like its championship mode before I pay way too much on a mates borrowed credit card to import this title ;/ Cheers, Rod.
If you can wait a month you should be able to get a demo on the CD with most game magazines! buzard "Ray127611" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:[email hidden]... > i would like to know what is wrong with the game before downloading a 41MBdemo > that would take me 12 hours or buying a $50 game then finding out itscrap. > (F12000 comes to mind.....)
