For more than one and a half years now I have been fighting GPL. Fighting on
the tracks has been the easiest part. Rest of time I been in melee with the
"my computer/GPL" alliance.
Long time ago I downloaded SCGT demo - killed GPL which wouldn�t recognise
my 3D-card. Had to reformat my disk. Hate EA ever since (but have F1 2000).
Open GL - working good with a few surprises from time to time, D3D made my
day, thanks.
Racing on VROC - was superb, now it�s a disaster. I get thown out every
time. Guess it�s ISPproblem, waiting for ADSL-connection this autumn. Still
made to trials tonight, both Monza (love the original tracks) and had a new
surprise. I run GPL without FF and still when racing on VROC the FF was on!
Two weeks ago the sound change a bit, there is some kind of distortion, a
low tone "brum", I never had before. This one started after downloding
Alisons F2-setups.
No I will never give up GPL.
