I installed the new detenator 3 drivers (6.18) for my Geforce 256, but
somehow, it crashed GP3 back to the desktop whenever I started a race
or a practise. So I decided to go back to older drivers (5.22). But
now every 5 seconds GP3 is 'hanging' the PO is going to 300/400. Then
it goes back to normal after 5 seconds... the same
My current system:
P3 800
256 MB
Geforce 256 32MB
win98
DirectX 7a
Is there anybody who had the same problems and solved them? Or anybody
who has an idea? I deleted already all geforce drivers, uninstalled
GP3 and reinstalled everything but this was not helping.

did you uninstall the old rivers as directed in the readme, BEFORE you
installed D3?

I even looked through the registry to delete everything what looked
like NVIDIA...
But no result...

Put Detonator 3 back on and go into your GP3
directory and delete the cards.txt file. Then the game should run ok.
