I only tried GP3 with keyboard and the main reason i didn't like it was too
much UNDERsteer!! I don't know if it's because of grooved front tyres or the
default steering lock for keyboard. I don't have a steering wheel at the
moment but will get one soon so my question is what do you feel racing with
wheel, general oversteer, understeer and are you able to cure both with
altering the setup?
Thanks,
Borut.

Oh, to answer your question, in GP2 you could recover the spins just the way
you described for GP3. Personally, i was having trouble with correcting
oversteer from acceleration in GP2 because i was being too optimistic when i
felt the rear wheels were about to break loose and was hoping for the best
until it was too late to correct it with brakes :-(
In GP2 it didn't really matter what you did with the steering wheel, just
brakes and you were safe, AFAIK.

Have not played GP2 in a long time so I dont remember it had this same oversteer
recovery that I noticed in GP3. With GP3 if I get oversteer from too much
throttle and it feels like its about to spin, I can just stomp on the brakes and
it recovers itself. I wish I could do that in real race cars.
I still like the way GP3 feels though. It gives a better sense of horsepower and
acceleration than MGPrs2 and F1 2K in my opinion. MGPrs2 has way too sensitive
throttle and the wheels spin too easy with no feel of regaining grip. F1 2K
feels like it has low horsepower and hard to loose grip accelerating.
I think this is why I liked GP2 because it felt more fun to accelerate off
corners.

J. Villenueve used that method at Canada to recover from an impending spin,
he has done it a few times before as well.
Maybe he plays too many sims <G>
