I hope they are waiting for licensing issues rather than hardware (CPU's/Video Cars) to catch up. <grin> " Karsten Borchers" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:8nnako$221i$[email hidden]...

Do they even have a rolling physics model yet? I've heard that they've got a pretty sophisticated tire model, but I haven't heard much in the way of anything that's actually DRIVEABLE at this point -- anybody know the status, or have any idea of what they've accomplished so far? - JB In article <8nmojo$2na$[email hidden]>, "Han Monsees" <[email hidden]> wrote: > Just read at www.simracingnews.com > > WSC has been pushed forward till 2nd quarter of 2001. The demo they showed at E3 had about 2/3rds of Monza drivable. The car "seemed" finished but things like the tire graphics weren't done. Car definately reacted to it's enviroment...so "most" of the physics should be enabled...but other than that...I canna say. dave henrie <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:8nnqlm$ite$[email hidden]...

there is a video floating around there that is quite old. It shows a car driving around with it's suspension raised and softened going over various bumps on a test track of some sort. You can find it at. http://legends.sports-gaming.com/movies.shtml be warned that it is an old build of WSC and a lot has changed since then -- the friendly pysco I know it's spelled wrong but, I'm not a psycho ; ) <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:8nnqlm$ite$[email hidden]... > Do they even have a rolling physics model yet? According to one of the West Bros there was no real physics model underneath that demo it was some sort of driving model. "Dave Henrie" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:VfKn5.10755$[email hidden]...
