hehehehehe...All this banging my head against the wall called the Ring
has paid off...smacked off my first 1:30.8 lap of Monza followed by a
few 1:31's and it felt so good to be finally ahead of that damn Sweet
Red Ferrari. Now I know what it means to go slow entering the corners
and fast out...it means braking in time to get set up for the corner
instead of that last minute ooh my god braking.
hehehe....Yea I know pitiful...but I gotta brag somewhere...the wifey
only winces when I try to tell her how cool it is. Besides she can
always tell when I put in a bunch of laps cause I brake late driving
her around...<VBG>

And here I was thinking that Papa Doc was driving around in a

Eldred, I'm reading Going Faster, too. Its advice seems great in
theory...but in practice I'm too busy trying to control the car. I'll tell
you one book that helps me is "Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance."

But you gotta GET there first. I'm at 1:06.96 at WG, and I've even read Going

No laughing from me!! Heh heh! I am new to racing sims, but have founds
these latest group of sims to be very addicting! GPL is very cool!, but I am
also enjoying Nacar 3 and F1 2000.
I am running a steady 1:39 at Monza, but have only been practising on that
track for a short while. I am getting quite good at Watkins Glen (1:14!!
don't laugh...it seems very fast to me!) What a great sim this is!
Any idea how to include the 3rd party tracks in the Best Laps screen?? I
must congratulate the artists who have created these tracks. Please continue
your awesome work.
Well, back to practicing laps. (Now I gotta try to get below 1:30 at Monza,
thanks alot Papa Doc)

1.05 at the Glen, and sub 1.30 at Monza. The game than transforms even

Heh ... still working on it myself. Finally got a 131.xx lap the other
day. I'm finally starting to get the "rythem" of these cars. Feels
pretty damn good.
