Colin, I'm so bad at these tech questions but I seem to remember that I got some really weird colors when I had triple buffering enabled and/or limit texture memory to 2 meg disabled. Try a couple of different combos of those 2 parameters in 3DFX tweaks. Larry Colin Harris wrote:

Hi I have had this colour corruption. I ran the 3dfx fix where you put the specific drivers in the gpl directory. Everything was fine (menu screens are small). After unconnected probs I reinstalled after a format and I did not need to use any fix. This time evreything was O.K.!!
