NEW nh question! ;-)

I don't think you can, I was dissappointed with that. I also wish it saved screen shots to the hard drive similar to N3, where you could view a replay and save several without having to exit and paste in a paint program individually. -- Don Burnette Dburn in N3 and Legends ICQ# 74084566 "Tim Wheatley" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:8nn4o1$sc4$[email hidden]... > How can I cut replays? > > I don't really want to send people a whole race just for a close finish or > something :-) > > -- > Tim, > [email hidden]|[email hidden] > http://legends.sports-gaming.com/forums.shtml FREE forums for your league... > http://legends.sports-gaming.com Sim racing website loosely based on gpl... > >
No Save Game, or the ability to cut replay's as well as the screenshot issue are definitely a problem, but since we probably won't see any type of patch for these options I just try to blow them off and enjoy NH for what it is. The absence of these things just give me more reason to look forward to N4... --David In article <%YEn5.1046$[email hidden]>, [email hidden] wrote...

There's also a very important new issue concerning Heat in jacob's nh.discussion newsgroup. Apparently, you can purposely run full speed down straightaways and ricochet off of the wall between turns 1 and 2, and turns 3 and 4 and get very fast speeds. This is using HARDCORE mode and NORMAL WEAR settings. This has also been verified that it can be done in the full version. The reason it can be done is because NH doesn't model damage realistically. So add that to No Save Game, no ability to cut replays, and no screenshots.....and well. I think most of us will still be buying it because it's new and fresh and has very good physics, but I can see Nascar Heat getting old VERY fast. Interestingly enough, no one at Hasbro is touching the ricochet laps issue with a ten-foot-pole. There are two very large threads concerning the issue and not a single post from Hasbro although they answer most other posts around it. =) "David L. The damage model in the demo is "Normal Mode" damage and it can not be adjusted in the demo. In the retail product, damage is more realistic & it is adjustable. So, any "bouncing off the walls" will be relegated to people who enjoy Normal Mode. --ed. Explain how you have to put the Wear Setting on "x2" or "2.0" or whatever the setting is called to get realistic damage. Meaning everything wears twice as much, including tires and I'm assuming brakes, engine, etc. as well. Waiting for your reply. Just because SCGT had a 2X setting, doesn't mean that's how NH works. I would assume there is a normal and "hardcore" wear setting so that everything wears a little easier not by multipliers, but my realism. And btw. Ed can't reply to everything, so any conclusions that are drawn are simply speculation. Adam <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:ckYn5.50708$[email hidden]...
