Well, I used F1 2K to learn how to left-foot brake. When I came back to GPL, it wasn't hard to transfer that skill. I ended up beating my PB's simply because of the time saved switching my foot to the brake pedal. Does that count? Thanks Steve -- to clarify, I trimmed almost 2 seconds off my lap time at Mexico in GPL after not playing around with it for well over a month, and in the meantime, all I had been doing was mainly hotlaps in F12K. -- JB In article <l78o5.7375$[email hidden]>, "Steve Marsh" <[email hidden]> wrote: > I think that he meant that he trimmed 2 secs off his GPL laptime, nothis

I haven't been running much GPL for the past few months, but after playing F12K for the past couple of weeks, I fired up GPL again and turned some laps at Mexico (my favorite!). Much to my surprise, I trimmed almost 2 seconds off my personal best, AND I improved my GPLRank by 2 positions as well (I still REALLY suck, but it's an improvement! <G>). Going in "cold turkey" and beating a personal best can only be attributed to the fact that F12K has kept my skills sharp -- which speaks VERY well for the physics modeling in F12K. Anybody else have any similar experiences with F12K or other sims? -- JB Sent via Deja.com http://www.deja.com/ Before you buy.

I learned some braking techniques from GP3 which helps me out in GPL. (I have both games F12K and GP3) -Cheers! <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:8nqi4m$f0d$[email hidden]...

Not to sound the "least bit sarcatic" (really), but isn't GP3's braking exactly the same as GP2's? Just curious, I have not seen GP3 yet. Thx, Matt
I think that he meant that he trimmed 2 secs off his GPL laptime, not his F12K.... Steve Marko Aaltonen <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:8nqtns$h3i$[email hidden]...
