If you like SK2000 you cannot go wrong with GP500. Maybe it's somewhat less
graphically impressive, but the bikes are a whole different animal to ride.
I got 'm both and I wouldn't have it any other way.

I have recently bought EA's SBK2000, and am having a ball with it. This is a
genre I had never considered playing before, but it really is very good fun.
So to my question - I am considering whether to buy GP500, but wondered if
someone who had played it could tell me whether it is substantially
different from SBK2000 (graphics, handling etc).
Thanks in anticipation

SBK2000 is a joke, GP500 is THE cycle game for the moment.
Get it!

The physics model is
superior by far, it feels more like real cycles I have ridden.
Judging how fast you are entering a turn from the visuals is its only real
problem, at least for me.
A definite buy.
It's at least as good, if not better. Definately get it
