Here's a post I made earlier over at news.simracing.org regarding my setup.
All pieces work as one controller and TE did a great job IMO:
"Just discovered that TE is now selling pedals specifically wired for the
Act Labs Force RS as well as the Logitech Wingman Formula Force. Check out
http://www.thomas-superwheel.com/pedals.html for info. I had mine custom
wired by TE a few months ago - they work GREAT. I had them include a clutch
as well and I just ordered custom pedal pads which should be excellent. See
http://www.thomas-superwheel.com/prods/pad02.html for a picture of those.
My next project is to talk GTX_Slot to connect the 15" Cup Wheel from TE
http://www.thomas-superwheel.com/prods/wkit02.html to my Force RS - Slot,
you there? This would be about as close as you can get to a TSW2 FF don't
ya think? Heh, my Hurst 'Nascar 50th' shifter knob looks pretty cool on my
RS Shifter too. Now if all this could just help me to GO FASTER ;)
Seriously if money is no object and you want the great pedals for your FF
controller, these are great!"

Yes I do use them<S> as I'm the one making them I thought it best to
support the product!
I use both methods, usb and gameport when testing kits, but for ease of
use I would say the connection to existing LWFF wiring is best as you
get dual or single axis in software and you get to throw away those
nasty LW pedals<S>
I can and do supply kits for direct gameport connection, meaning you
have the LWFF on usb with its pedals still connected but moved out of
the way and my pedals connected thro the gameport on their own. But this
method only works for games/sims like GPL that allow multi controller
inputs.
We did connect a set up directly to a TSW loom in place of the TSW
pedals which works.
The pedals are designed to be used with your toes or ball of your foot,
but with your heels resting on a support the same height as the pedals
when at rest.
You could make angled backplates for them to use in other positions but
I primarily designed them for me and thats the most comfortable position
I found as well as giving super control over both pedals. Your toes are
much more sensitive and quick to react to small changes than the ball or
all of your foot. 1:15:58 at Goodwood in the Lotus with them.
I'm still thinking of making a set available for the guys who want full
blooded foot on type pedals but atm I just havnt the time to complete
the project.
Cheers.

Take a look at these....

Not cheap, but work well.

I see that Thomas Enterprises is offering TSW2 pedals that will work
with the LWFF. The costs seems pretty steep -- almost as much as the
basic TSW2 wheel and pedals combo -- considering that you have to ship
them your original LWFF pedals to re-use some of the cables with the new
pedals.
Be that as it may, has anyone ordered these converted TSW2 pedals for
the LWFF? If so, how has it worked out? Overall, do you feel that it
was worthwhile?
Thanks.
That is a sign of a dying company imho. If you start to modify your
competitors equipment, when yours is supposed to be much better (mad owner
of a TSW 2 Formula here) you can't be doing well at all.

Are you using these? If so, which connection method do you use? LWFF on
USB (or serial) and pedals to gameport, or everything to gameport? (And
how comfortable are these pedals? They look kind of "flat" to me, meaning,
it looks as iff you control then with your toes, not the ball of your
foot.).
I'm already using my TSW wheels pedals in conjunction with the LWFF with
those sims which support more than one controller at a time ( ie - GPL, N3,
NL, MGPRS2). However, there are plenty of sims which do not support 2
controllers at once, and I find it a pain to continually be switching
controller ID numbers and setting in Win 95's control panel.
Hooking better pedals directly to the LWFF wheel would greatly simplify
things, but I would like to hear if anyone's used these Thomas pedals for
this.
Thanks again.

TSW purposely does not produce force feedback
devices. By offering pedals to force feedback believers, they only open up
another market to distribute their products in. That's called
diversification and it's common practice among almost any company in the
world.
Of course TSW's equipment is much better, but if someone desperately wants
force feedback, he'll never buy TSW. This way he will.

Well I did a prototype 3 pedal setup for use with the LW wheel Wired
thro the gameport, but didnt get a lot of interest in the clutch so I
dropped it.
My Gameport set does come fully wired so adding a 3rd pedal isnt a great
hardship, just costs!

Gotta get back to my practice sessions now. (I need 'em).

solution.
This is much better than those who connected the pedals on the gameport.
It's been known by using game port and USB together has performance hits on
the CPU.
The way I did it is what TSW2 is offering, I strongly suggest it :)
