GPL & LWFF force feedback questions?

Hi all, I just got a Logitech Wingman Formula Force GP. As this is my 1st FF wheel, I would appreciate any comments on the following: - I following Ali's web site and set the adjustments as she recommended. However, when driving straight, the wheel rotates (oscillates) left and right by itself (just slightly). If I let go the wheel, the car would weave left and right. Is this normal for a FF wheel? (it didn't do that with my non-FF TM Nascar wheel). I have played with the core.ini settings for the FF and nothing changed. - In the Wingman driver screen (v. 3.60), the "Force effect strength" and "Force damping" can't be adjusted below 100. I set them to 150 and 25 (as on Ali's web site), close the wingman window, started GPL and after I quitted GPL, the setting in Wingman was back to 100 and 100. (the overall force stayed at 150 as I left it). I thought this is global setting but it looked like GPL was resetting it? Thanks for any help. = Minh = Sent via Deja.com http://www.deja.com/ Before you buy.

The oscillation comes probably from the latancy. The same thing happens to me with the Ferrari wheel and I haven't quite managed to rid of it, presumably never will..... M <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:8o0tga$qgl$[email hidden]...
