I'm not using ANY add-ons, and I did a fast lap at monza (well, fast for a defualt setup) 1:28 and I submitted on a web page competition on the wednesday BEFORE the game was released (I got it early from my supplier) and it wasn't the same lap as what I did, so that was wierd.... -- Phil. Yep. I am using the FPS patch. At least I know now what is causing the problem. Thanks guys Gary

Gary, the problem is NOT caused by the framerate utility. I'm absolutely sure since I am NOT using it but nevertheless my replays are often screwed up as well. Maybe it aggravates it? But it's bad enough om my system already :-) You can try downloading GP3VIDEO from one of the known websites. It enables you to have full race replays, better control etc. It also helped me in "recovering" from corrupt replays (i.e., replaying a few more times results in getting back to the "original" situation) JoH
