Help! I downloaded from GPLEA the subject car update and about the same time took a big frame rate hit. I have done many things so I'm not sure if that's the problem. How do I revert to the non GPLEA Ferrari - remove which files? Thanks Tony
It's a shame, because they look sooooo good. Also, that 2000 carset for ICR2 looks much more realistic for exactly that reason. A small detail, but it goes a long way to make the cars look more realistic. Stephen Kev <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:[email hidden]...

It's the 3d wheels that are causing the frame rate hit. You can keep the GPLEA car skin, just delete the wheel files. Anything in cars/car67/ferrari that starts with 'wheel' I think can be binned. BACK UP THE FERRARI FOLDER FIRST!! That's what I did after similar fps problems. Kev Tony Lake wrote:

Indeed they do. But, Bruce Johnson is working on some wheels that look even better http://nosthevamp.tripod.com/honda_ra_300.htm They may not affect the frame rate either cos they thave spokes so there's fewer polygons/textures to draw. Kev Stephen Ferguson wrote:
