Am I doing something wrong. When I enable vertex_damage yes in my
options.cfg file, my computer locks up when it begins to load a race
(not the track). Am I doing something wrong?
Press ctrl alt del, if you hear activity from your drive, press esc and wait
longer.

There's a reason it's an unsupported option.

it is not locking up , but rather taking forever to load give it several
minutes.
