I know it was released on the 22nd, so I phoned the local EB and they
said the 24th. Fine. I phoned back on the 24th and was told it would
be here on the 25th (today). So today, I went to EB and found no
NASCAR Heat. :-( I asked when they were getting it and was told,
"maybe next week." So I was just wondering if anyone in Canada has
it, and where they got it from. I know it will get here eventually,
and hearing that other canucks have it won't make it get here any
sooner....I'm just curious to know. What with the unbelievable
popularity of NASCAR in Canada (sarcasm), I'm worried it might be one
tough game to find.
Same thing here in BC...
EB said they *may* get it on Saturday...Monday for sure. The demo will
hold me over until then, with a little bit of GPL thrown in for good
measure... :-)
I'm a little disappointed with the multiplayer reports I've been reading
though. I was really hoping 4 or 5 players all on a cable modem could hook
up and play in a smoooooooooooth, lag free race but that doesn't seem to
be the case :-(

Yeah, I'll admit that's one thing that bothers me, and it's one thing
that will keep N3 entrenched on the hard drive (until N4 maybe).
However, from playing the demo, and hearing other people's posts, it
sound like the quality of offline play (yellows and damage aside) will
make it well worth the money (if we ever get it!).

Why do you say that? Just because TSN tape delayed the last 2 Winston Cup
races & don't show Busch or CTS... ;-)

Oh well, at least they show all the F1 races live. Then again, there's not a
lot of competition for the 7:00 a.m. slot. :) The pre-race is not bad, and
I'm glad that we have Murray Walker's commentary, but I just wish they'd
show more than half the post-race interviews!
Well, I hear people with cable are hosting 16 people with out warp.

I suppose we should be thankful they're only tape delayed. I remember
a few years ago when NASCAR races were pre-empted altogether for such
major events as the Scott Tournament of Hearts and the
Brier......riverting stuff!!!!!!!!
