Like a lot of you guys and girls I'm really getting into NH. However, my old
V3 3000 is getting a bit long in the tooth. I really want to drive NH in
higher resolutions.
My predicament - what video card to buy. In searching around the Web, a
majority of review have read favor Geforce 2 GTS cards over the 3dfx V5
5500. But it seems that I hear the V5 5500 may be the best for racing sims.
I'm pretty confused. I have a chance to get a Geforce 2 with 64 MB (not 32
MB) video RAM for only about $60 more than I a V5 5500.
I would love to hear about any "real life" experiences you have had with
both cards, especially anyone who has tried both the Geforce and V5.
