The first track I went to was Watkins Glen. I couldn't get the thing to turn. I changed the linearity, now the car 'wanders' down the straights. Reminds me of GPL. I'm sure there's some combination of linearity and steering lock that should work. I just can't find it at the moment... :( Eldred -- Tiger Stadium R.I.P. 1912-1999 Homepage - http://www.umich.edu/~epickett GPL hcp. +51.31 Never argue with an idiot. Guys, I can really use some help keeping the car straight on the straightaways...Rrevved i've seen you post many helps on other topics. Do you have this problem? One of my biggest complaints, has been the pull to the left, and I have learned that this is very common in real life. So, I realize I must fix my problem since it isn't a bug. My problem is my wheel (an Act Labs RS Force) is very sensative to movements in the game. For example, I'll come out of turn 2 at Daytona, and start to drift to the infield. I'll try to gently turn the wheel to the right to correct the pull/drifting, but the car jerks to the right. The jerk isn't severe at all, but you can see the car roll back and forth, as I try to carefully turn the wheel. I can't seem to the game and wheel to be not so sensative to my inputs. I think I need to adjust my steering inputs here, but let me know if this is what everyone else is experiencing. I have tried looking in the advanced controller set-up section, and have messed with the deadspots, and overshoot, but they don't seem to correct the problem. If anyone has corrected a similar problem, what have you done to do so. For regulars of this message board who may have read some previous posts of mine, please read on you like... Yeah, yeah I know I've bashed the game quite a bit... and truthfully I'm not giving it a second chance as actually I've never given up on it in the first place. I do stand by my statement though that Hasbro, like so many other publishers, has released a very unfinished game with many bugs still in the game. Because everyone knows well enough that they got it out as quick as they could before N4 could even get a demo out. If they didn't NH could've been easily released straight into the discount bin. This isn't a NH gripe, but a PC Gamers gripe that I'm sick and tired of. Companies releasing bugged unfinished games too early. There is just something about how the game plays that makes me just not like it all that much. It's hard to explain why, but perhaps I might compare it to when you just don't like a certain movie for no serious reason at all, and this movie may be one that all of your friends loved, and one which the critics gave great reviews to. You just have these certain inconsequentional reasons why you don't like it for whatever reason, but they all add up, and you just don't like it even though these reason may seem silly, even to you. That aside, and also the fact that I don't think N3 has anything to do with it since I don't think I have touched that game since two or three months after it's release. Also, don't ask why I'm typing this, because only god knows why, but I have to say that my favorite two racing sims are Viper Racing and Dirt Track Racing... Someone I think posted a dare to people who didn't like this game to admit that NH had probably the best driving physics ever in a NASCAR game. Well, it does, and that is why I'm going to continue playing it, at least in practice mode, so I can learn to drive these stockers. Driving wise and setup wise, it's a great sim. There's just somethings I just don't like in the rest of the game, that's all. And, has anyone experienced a bug where when you are at a track during the practice session no other cars come onto the track. I experience this when I hit ESC and then select restart. The other cars just stay on pit road. Has this been reported as a bug yet, or even spoken of???

OK I'll try that thank you, and you we're right. The flames at the Hasbro site are a lot worse than here! By the way, I didn't even realize we could adjust the stagger in the game, as I was under the impression that NASCAR teams weren't allowed to adjust them anymore. Wasn't that the reason why Papy didn't include it in N2. "rrevved" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:[email hidden]...
