I just installed the 1.05 drivers for my Voodoo 3000 and now GPL doesn't
work Any ideas what I need to change to get it working again.
Unfortunately, I only did this to solve another problem and now wound up
with an even bigger problem.
Thanks,
Russell
They work fine here. Drivers newer than 1.04 cause a 20sec system pause
polling the scsi cdrom the first time explorer is opened, but thats
separate.

I went back to the 1.04 drivers and I am once again racing with GPL.
With the 1.05 drivers, upon starting GPL I didn't see the 3dfx logo even
though it was turned on. I did see the Sierra Sports screen, then the
screen goes blank and then the computer is completely locked up.
Some others posted about SCSI devices, but I don't have any SCSI equipment.

I use 1.05.B02 (1.05.00 prior) and have no SCSI CD problems. And yes I do
have a SCSI CD-Rom (2940AU controller) :-).

I went *ahead* to the 1.05.02-beta drivers and now it's ok again (with V3
2000).

When I used the 1.05 drivers I got the 3Dfx logo, the Sierra Sports screen
and then it froze (hard reset required).

I do, but I didn't have any weird problems there.

And the solution for this was to copy the ras3dfx.dll from the 1.2
patch to your GPL map after you had installed the 1.05 patch.
Found this out after hours of frustrated trying :)

Click on 3dfx Advanced Features, click on OpenGL/Glide, click on Triple
Buffering and disable it. This solved for me the flickering problem in GPL.
Have fun
