It seems so hard to find a race. Not only that, it's likely that if you
catch an IP by the time you get there the race has already started, so
you're out of luck.
As far as I see it, Hasbro did an awful job of setting up its multiplayer.
First, there's no practice; and second, there's no lobby where you can
easily find races. Thus everyone is frantically posting IP addresses
because that is the best way Hasbro has given us to set up races.
Yahoo is fine but Kali could be better.
I'm going to be sticking around the Checkered Flag server in Kali. If you
are a registered user of Kali and have Heat, drop by and we can try and see
if Heat works. Kali might be the best place to meet and play, until Hasbro
gives us a better option.
Thanks,

Yeh i agree, i think this is what upsets me the most with NH, the
mplayer setup is so behind the times.... They know what it was like on
TEN and WON yet they still released a game that has this setup.. I have
been racing online with NH via IRC and its alot easier to do it real
time. you can come back to the chat room and talk about the race......
Hell even in NH, after you win, you cant talk anymore.. chessy ...
just plain cheessy....

>Robert,
The only problem with Kali is that you have that overhead which you don't
have with IP-to-IP. The advantage of Kali is that you don't have to copy
the IP address and actually even look for games, as they will show up in the
multiplayer section after you try to connect to anyone. You may even be
able to leave the host name blank and the hosts would still appear.
IRC does seem like it might be pretty easy though. On what channel are you
meeting? I'd like to check it out.
Thanks,
