I know this is a laudable social effort and all that, but appending this "sign the petition" link to replies whose subject lines have nothing to do with signing petitions is beginning to smell not a little bit like SPAM. Instead, maybe you could do as other NGs have done: have a message whose subject line is "Petition to Papyrus for new CART sim, please sign" with your link in the body, and post it once a day. That way, newbies or people who've been away from the NG for a while will see it and respond as they wish, and people won't open numerous messages with subjects they've been following, just to find they're having the CART petition tambourine tambourine shaken in their face. Again. And again. And again. Whattaya think?
