Yipee!!! OK, it was novice and it was Monza but hey, a win is a win.
Seeing as I've played this game on and off for 6 months it is about
time. Got the pole with a 29.46 but got smoked by the two loti and a
ferrari at the start. Was in second by lap 3 and got first on an
unneccesarily dangerous inside pass/braking manuever into CG. Won by 2.
Funny thing is I didn't break 1:30 the entire race. Won again later
that nite with 5 1:29.xx laps after the first so I think I'm improving.
Now I feel motivated again. Off to master the Ring.

Before you buy.
Good for you, I know that feel, I enjoyed that more than a
year ago. Now on low 1:28 but wont switch to the ring
until I got an 1:27 something. Keep practicing.

Congrats Chris! I just won my first race last weekend as well (also novice
at Monza). Started in 5th, made a great start but was back in 5th after
running wide at CG on 1st lap. Picked up two places on the next lap on the
main straight and then Hill and Clark on the next two laps, again both
drafted down on the main straight. Only broke into the 1:29s twice but was
ahead by 3 seconds at the end. I know it was only a novice race but it was
boost to the old ego.
Now if only I could do that at the Ring.
