This is one beautiful game. The demo impressed me but I was anxious to try
the full version at Watkins Glen. My first couple of laps in Hardcore mode
left me speechless. The car handles like one would imagine - bulky with lots
of power. Of course, next I had to try Sears Point. Not as much fun as the
Glen, but still, the car responded to all my mistakes and corrections : ).
One thing that made me smile was in a full race at the Glen, I was fixated
on the AI cars in front. Their suspension moving perfectly in sync with the
banking. IMO it adds a lot to the simulation if the AI cars actually appear
"real" unlike some other games *cough* GP3 *cough*.
All in all, this is a wonderful first effort. It is by far the best looking
sim and IMO the best handling sim. With a few patches this will be the best
Nascar sim on the market. Now, is there any way we can convince the MGI team
to use this engine for a CART sim? The NH game engine with CART cars and
tracks? WOW! If they also include the "Normal" setting in that, it will open
a CART sim to a whole new audience.
Fantastic Job,
Michael M
No offense or anything, but... CART SUCKS!
What's exciting about cars going through turns a 30 mph?

The 200 mph straight that leads you there.
Nothing... but then again "Championship Auto Racing Teams"-cars also go
through some turns at 220mph, which is exciting.
The little space frame things that do 30mph through all turns are spelled
"Karts" and even then it's just the shitty rental ones that are that slow.
IIRC even the "lightest" catergory in Karts is now capable of well in excess
of 65mph.
BTW: CART!! CART!! CART!! CART!! CART!! CART!! CART!! CART!! ;-)

that matter) does not mean that CART racing is good or bad.
I see this type of comment all to often in the posting here. I just
wish that people would state their like or dislike without slamming -
this is better than that, this sucks, this is the best, etc..
In addition, you apparently do not understand the sport - 30 MPH turns?

Corey made a mistake. He is talking about Kart and not CART.
