I can't locate a tape measure but it looks like my T2 and logitech steering
wheels are about 8.5" or 9". I can't believe they're using wheels this
small, and looking at cockpit pictures the steering wheels seem to fill up
most of the cockpit, like a good 10". Anyone know the actual size of the
steering wheel on these cars?

Do you think Logitech, Guillemot, Microsoft, Thrustmaster, etc. designed (or
will ever design) their wheels to match the real size of the steering wheels
in 1967 F1 cars?
I have owned three racing wheels and they haven't been the size of any real
steering wheel...well, maybe a go kart.

Heehee, but when I complain about the size of the logitech wheel, I get a
"well that's whats in real race cars" stock response. Yeah right. I'm told
the TSW wheel is 10.5" or so, which sounds like a nice size to me.

On the odd occasion that I actually drive a real car (once or twice a
month) I am shocked every time by the size of the steering wheel! This
doesn't make me a dangerous driver, because GPL has taught me to be very
very careful with the throttle. Hmm, maybe it does make me dangerous... :)

Ballracing Development has 10" steeringwheels
They also have a genuine 12" 1967 style Lotus 49 wheel as option.
