Does anyone in Canada have NASCAR Heat yet? Having phoned EB last
week and been told it would be in today or tomorrow, I phoned back
today and was told it MIGHT be in within one or two weeks. Argh!!
And EB is about as on top of the ball as it gets. Any other software
store I've been too (Compucentre/CompuSmart) has no knowledge of it
whatsoever..."what's that you're looking for..NASCAR racing 4?" Just
wondering if anyone in Canada has purchased it from an actual store.
They have no clue in Canada in regards to NASCAR sims. I went to the US
to buy because I knew it would take 2-3 weeks before we would get it
here. You can buy it from www.dragon.ca, pay in Can $ and reveive the
game within 2-3 days at your door.

Yup EB just got it today and *I* happened to be the first guy to walk
through the door to buy the *one* (count'em-one) copy that they received in
the Kingston store. The manager told me that they had had several inquiries
over the last week but no one had bothered to reserve a copy. He was
surprised that EB central had only sent him one copy.

Strange, my Toronto area store only had one left also!!!! Maybe it was a
fishing tactic :-) but I was glad to snag the only copy they seemed to have
(?). 49.99 Canadian doesn't hurt either. HEAT IS VERY WELL DONE!

Sweet graphics, cool physics (okay, maybe you catch air a _little_ too
much), "arcade" mode plus hardcore mode. Awesome!
Only thing I wouldn't mind seeing is a patch for the yellow flag thing, and
maybe a (cringe) save game feature!

I reserved the *one* copy at EB in Calgary too. Umm, looks like they
didn't think it would fly like Diablo II ;-) He allowed me to reserve it
over the phone -- this is usually not allowed. Maybe they just wanted
to get rid of it, LOL.

I got my copy from EB today, too (the last one they had). I live in
Calgary as well, and was just curious where you got yourcopy from. I
went to EB at Chinook and was told they had one, but sold it about
10min before I got there. Aaargghh!!! I phoned the one at Sunridge
and was told they had ONE copy so I got them to hold it. Whew!
