I have been using Microsoft's Sidewinder and well pleased with it however I bought the Thrustmaster Pro Digital and have had OE errors on bootup. I have to go to safe mode and uninstall the the drivers from the add/remove to get the computer to bootup. I have tried the latest drivers and patches and still the same problem. I run Win 98se, 128 ram. There was an occasion that the wheel worked ok then went back to the OE errors.

Hi Gary, Does the wheel use USB? If you have a networkcard in the computer at the same time it could be that they share IRQ. And as a result there could be a conflict and that the wheel work temporary. Apart from that there could of course be alot of other reasons :-) Gary Hasley <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:8ok3t2$c5t$[email hidden]... > I have been using Microsoft's Sidewinder and well pleased with ithowever > I bought the Thrustmaster Pro Digital and have had OE errors on bootup. Don't bother with TM tech support! I have had nothing but trouble with my Nascar Pro digital since I got it three weeks ago. After e-mailing tech support with ALL information all they did was reply with the standard "how to install drivers" I replied twice that I had correctly installed the drivers over ten times and still had problems(Wheel section would just quit responding but pedals were ok,wheel when it worked had a huge null zone at middle ,I would then have to remove and re-install the drivers) The moron still insisted that I was installing the drivers wrong. I gave up and opened the unit. Found both leads to the wheel pot were cold soldered. Resoldered them and it works great. I e-mailed tech support back with what I found. I know I'll never hear from them again.
