Ok, could someone please help me out. I try to race Nascar 3 but everytime I try, I warp like crazy. Not being the computer genius, I didn't realize why, but after talking w/ another racer, I learned that (kinda what I figured) using AOL as my internet is my problem. Basically too much ram being used that is causing my problem. Ok, what can i do? I'd like to get a free internet account so I could race and race good (like I'm capable) but warping so much causes me to wreck, as well as wrecking others. I don't wanna pay any more a month on internet access on top of my AOL bill to play online. What should I do? Thanks a ton. God bless

Also if you have a winmodem, you need lots of memory. If you can replace the winmodem with a hardware version. These generally cost just under $100 US. If it costs $39 or $49 dollars, it's a good bet that is a winmodem good luck dave henrie "Kudro Jr" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:[email hidden]... > Ok, could someone please help me out. If you can find someone with a fast connection (DSL or Cable) that is hosting a race, you will be OK. Believe it or not. When I was hosting races with my DSL connection, everyone else had 56K modem connections and there was no warping at all. I tried joining races with my DSL connection where the host had a 56K dialup and it sucked big time. A fast host internet connection is key. -- [email hidden] "Kudro Jr" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:[email hidden]... > Ok, could someone please help me out. Maybe, but you weren't using AOL... You can't play very well using AOL to connect. My servers are on a direct T3 line, but I can't get good pings using AOL. It's got too much latency, period.
