Has anyone tried to run N3 setups in NH? How well do they convert?
Also are there any Nascar Heat web sites up yet?
I just picked it up and think this is what N3 should've been. Looks
like N3 and N2 will be leaving my HD.
Thanks people

I tried converting my Vegas setup and wasn't able to run anywhere near what I
could in n3.

Don't know about the setups.
Just wanted to say that N3 looks like that old game called "pong" compared
to HEAT :-) N3 whipped off my hard drive very quickly..
First thing I did with HEAT was dump 43 AI drivers into dega and all was
VERY cool.

trying to sneak in behind another driver... Heat is good...we had almost no
warpage and the driving was close "most" of the time.

It is not setup for NH yet...so you have to make a custom game.
This is from memory...so you may have to experiment a little.
get the latest version of Kali first.
then way down on the bottom of the left frame is a game resources folder
with
'my games' (I think) inside that. right clik on my games, then choose
custom game and type in the Nascar Heat name. Here is one of the tricky
parts.
NH defaults to c:\program files\hasbro\nascar or some long drawn out folder
list. But if you install Heat onto your D:\ drive or just under
c:\games\heat, then the program will STILL install several files back in the
default folder...C:\blah blah blah...
So you have to browse to find your nh.exe file to get the program to
show up down on the bottom of kali. You still have to go back to the
configure games menu and "change" the ? icon to the NH flag icon if you so
desire.
the Nascar heat server can be found under the view menu ...but I forget
which option to click. probably game folders or something...try em all and
eventually you'll find the NH server. There are several N3 servers and they
usually have a Heat driver or two looking for a pickup race.
here is my icq # If you see me online, gimme a buzz and I'll try and talk
ya through it. My Kali Nick and icq nickname is Fallyn.
I'm usually invisible on icq cuz there are several old Longbow 2 pilots
that always try and rope me into a multi flight...
:)
5700968 icq
here is the ip for the nascar heat server....I have it set as my default
so all I do
is clik the 'connect to default server' and I'm there...
